Mark your calendars because we have an..

AWESOME EVENT ALERT!!!

Picture yourself getting ready for your date night, you’re applying your make-up to be sure your face is as pasty white as possible. Dark circles under your eyes? Bring them on! Next up, lipstick, smear it on your lips but don’t forget to drag a corner down to look like dripping blood. Outfit? No problem, work yourself into those skin tight leather pants, corset and a long duster, all black of course; you are a lady of the night. NO, not that kind of lady, I mean you ONLY go out at night. Fangs? Check.

Um. You’re a vampire.

Now that you are in your Halloween attire, grab your sweetie and be off with you to MANNA Foodbank. Here, we will be volunteering our time and efforts to help distribute food for those in need. Read more about this awesome organization here and how they are helping to end hunger in our area and in America!

After a few hours volunteering the date’s not over, it’s time to go get your own food and drink on at Highland Brewing Company. What an amazing time to share with someone you love, or are at least are fond of! Doing good within the community to help others while strengthening your connection then to have dinner and drinks to toast your efforts! Someone might just be getting lucky tonight..

*** Event update!! Jenn Gorden of Asheville Date Night Guide has provided us with an insider’s tip off to the food and drink portion of the night. And of course we had to share it with you! The food and drink had been a mystery to me until Jenn let us in on it. She says, “Chef Ricardo of Polanco downtown will be doing a taco pairing with the Thunderstruck Coffee Porter at Highland Brewing. His chocolate Mole sauce will be the perfect match to this rich, delicious beer.” TACOS?! Oh mylanta I’m so excited!
