Heads up friends, we have a new local business to share with you! And since mother’s day and wedding season are right around the corner, you’re going to love this one. Blooms on Tap is Asheville’s newest flower delivery company and we can’t stop talking about it.
First meet Patty and Duncan.
Aren’t they adorable?! This husband and wife team recently moved to Asheville in hopes of creating an exciting new adventure for themselves. Fortunately, they found the inspiration they needed and now we all get to reap the rewards!
Blooms on tap is an entirely new type of flower delivery business. They don’t have a shop, they don’t even grow flowers. What they do have, is a great idea!
Early every morning, the duo hand-picks the best blooms from local wholesalers. They then tap into their creative juices to construct a themed bouquet, which then becomes the bloom of the day.
Now get ready, because this is the best part. If you order before 12pm, you can have a gorgeous arrangement dropped off anywhere in the Asheville area, for as low as $30!
There are three main sizes for bouquets, but they’re all reasonably priced. Each day’s arrangement is posted on their Instagram, so you’ll know exactly what you’re ordering. And if you need even more control in your life, you can always preorder specific blooms (depending on seasonal availability).
“Getting more flowers into the hearts and hands of more people.” It isn’t just a dream, it’s a motto AND a goal. This small operation is just over a month old, but Patty and Duncan have big plans for the days to come. By spring, every flower will be sourced directly from local farmers. They’re even hoping for a “Flower truck” in the future.
